(Editor note: We wrote a post on Saturday about how the Virginia Gold Cup is a much better race than the Maryland Hunt Cup.  We assumed everyone would get the tongue-in-cheek tone and know that we were kidding!  They are both severe tests and great races -- similar in many ways and very different in others...and that is part of what makes them both so great. - GP)
